What makes Hopewell different
Hopewell Distillery is the home of Perkins & Sons, a Barbadian spirits producer founded in 1944. Set on the historic Hopewell Estate, the distillery sits on land shaped by centuries of sugarcane cultivation. That connection to sugarcane isn't symbolic. It's the foundation of everything we make, and what makes every bottle genuinely Barbadian.
We focus on small-batch production, hands-on craft, and spirits made with care rather than scale. Rum, gin, and vodka are produced using traditional methods and modern techniques, always with quality and balance in mind. The kind of spirits you remember long after the holiday ends.
Hopewell is also a place you can visit. We open our doors to share the full story: the process, the people, and the history that shapes each bottle.
Come and see it for yourself. Tours run Monday to Friday, 2-3 pm.
